Richard Clarke

Founder & Managing Director

Before setting up Ingredient Communications, Richard spent 16 years working as a B2B journalist, specializing in the food, nutrition and personal care industries. During this time, he realized that there was a gap in the market for a PR agency that was as passionate about the ingredients sector as he was. As a result, he founded Ingredient Communications. Today, he remains just as committed to the ingredients industry as ever and is proud to represent some of its most innovative and successful companies.

Steve Harman

Account Director

Steve is a highly experienced PR professional, with a strong track record in helping to build positive reputations for organizations and individuals. Prior to joining Ingredient Communications, he worked as a senior communications advisor at the British Medical Association and in the UK Parliament. Our clients value Steve for his combination of excellent writing skills, creative thinking and calmness under pressure.

Robin Hackett

Account Manager

With a background in sports and B2B journalism, Robin is a highly skilled writer and communications professional. His naturally curious nature means he enjoys getting to know and understand our clients’ businesses and the markets they operate in.

Susan Birks

PR Assistant

A former food industry journalist with a degree in Chemistry, Susan is primarily responsible for creating and issuing coverage reports for our clients. It’s a role that we consider to be essential in order to demonstrate the value and return on investment we deliver to our clients.

Gill Mullins

Copywriter

Gill started her writing career as a consumer magazine journalist before moving into marketing communications, both B2B and B2C, for national and international brands. She has a first-class honours degree in natural sciences and a wealth of knowledge in the fields of nutrition and health, which she puts to great effect in providing content and copy to support our clients’ needs.
