At Ingredient Communications, we are excited by the opportunities presented by Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, we are also committed to ensuring we engage with it in a way that is transparent, safe, ethical and legal. To this end, we have created a set of 10 principles that will guide us on how we use AI in the delivery of our services.
1. We will always be a ‘people-first’ business
Our client accounts will always be managed by expert, creative humans who understand your business. We will only ever use AI as a tool to support them.
2. We will use high-quality AI tools from reputable companies
Only AI tools that meet our high expectations and standards will be used.
3. We will only allow the use of approved AI tools
Our employees will be provided with a list of AI platforms approved for use, and given the support and guidance they need to use these tools safely and effectively.
4. We will prioritise the safety of your data
Employees will never be authorised to use an AI platform unless it has a clearly stated data protection policy confirming that it will not save chat data or use it to train AI models further.
5. We will be open about when we have used AI
If a client asks if or how an AI tool has been used in the delivery of their services, we will share full details.
6. We will not use AI to cut corners
Our commitment to high standards will not be compromised by the use of AI tools in the delivery of services to our clients.
7. We will fact-check information generated by AI tools
Generative AI sometimes ‘hallucinates’ information, so we will always be careful to verify the content it creates, and to reference fully any research we conduct using it.
8. We will share our learnings and experience
If a client wishes to know more about how we use AI tools in our work, we will always be happy to discuss this with them.
9. We will always comply with the law
If new UK legislation affects how we use AI tools, we will always ensure we are compliant.
10. We will respect the right to choose
If for any reason a client feels strongly that we should not use AI tools in the delivery of their services, we will not do so.
Please note that these principles may change or evolve as AI technology advances, and they do not constitute a legally-binding commitment or obligation, and do not form part of any contract.
